Beach RoseBud Picture
Wild White beach roses are common along the Rhode Island shoreline, they are so pretty and they grow wild.
But they sure do have the stickers!
This beach rosebud is called a Rosa Rugosa.
The bushes grow in the wild and are common in sandy places.
After the rosebud blooms and falls, it leave a podlike thing called a 'hip.' The roses come in three colors, white, pink, and violet. There is a number of garden varieties with single and double flowers. Be sure to see the picture what the beachrose looks like after it opens.
